MOTHER AND CHILD HEALTH CARE
Mother and Child Health Care Unit aims at reducing the maternal, neonatal and under-five mortality and morbidity rate so as to enhance the quality of life. MCH serves women, adolescents and their families through a network of health care facilities and programmes. It also improves access to skill development, provides information on various health related problems, especially of women, there by enhance knowledge and offers services to the public by free medical camps. It make the women aware on the importance of menstruation, personal hygiene, nutrition, breast feeding, pre and post natal care etc. It conducts Breast feeding week every year and awareness classes at various rural centres.
