PERIPHERAL HEALTH CENTRE - MOTTAVILAI
As a part of disaster management after tsunami SKHMC started three peripheral centres for the coastal area people in association with NGO - Malar. One among the centre is situated at Mottavilai which started its functioning on 18/11/2005. The centre is headed by Dr.Satheesh.M.Nair, Assistant Professor, Department of Organon of Medicine as Medical Officer and group of students including PGs and Interns are posted for assistance. Since June 2022 onwards Dr.V.Jayasree, Asst. Professor, dept of Physiology is in-charge of this centre The centre runs on every Fridays from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. Patients are treated effectively till date.
